Thank you for committing to pray for the next 40 days. Over and over God calls His people to pray. There is little that we can do that will have as great and far reaching impact as the moments we spend in prayer. In truth, the areas where we need to see such desperate change require the hand of God.

Thank you for committing to stand side by side in prayer for our church, neighbors, and nation!

In the following pages you will find a vision shared by strategic prayer leaders and suggested prayer guides leading up to an important day in Discovery’s life.

On November 20 we will have a special service of dedication to God’s call to take the message of Jesus to every one of God’s kids across the globe. We are praying for:

…. 50 people to Go

…. 500 Gospel Conversations in 2017

…. $55,000 Given to Global Missions

Thank you for praying with me.

At a prayer meeting, on Saturday, April 24th, we were praying for the church. Mary was calling on God to revive the church. As she was praying, I saw a vision of a woman lying on a bed, but the bed had sides like a coffin.

She is a beautiful woman, and wears a beautiful dress. As I look at her, I am aware that she is almost dead. Her skin is ashen and gray, like death. Jesus comes in. The spirit is all around him; so that all I can see is an outline. They come to the bed where the woman is lying.

Jesus leans over her; places His arm around her head; then places his mouth on hers, and ever so gently starts to breathe into her the breath of life. Her cheeks start to go pink. I think, “It’s not enough. This is not how you do CPR. It will never get all the way down to her hands and feet.” Jesus does not come up for a breath; nor does he blow harder, but just continues to gently breathe into her. As I watch, I hear a voice say, “Watch her hands and feet.” I turn my attention to her hands, and they are pink all the way down to the tips of her fingers. It is the same with her feet. They are pink all the way down to the tips of her toes. I am becoming aware of words being spoken. The words are, “This is Christ and the church.” Over and over I hear these words.

See Ephesians 5:25-33

James 5:15-16 tells us:
Prayer that comes from faith will heal the sick, for the Lord will restore them to health, and If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. (verse 15)

For this reason, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous person is powerful in what it can achieve. (verse 16)

You are invited to come early and pray before the service.

If you are going to fast as well, I recommend the book Fasting by Jentezen Franklin
